Lincoln City Park is more than just a park; it's an afternoon getaway of fun that's safe and family oriented.
Body:
Some people think that any place in a lower income area must be run down, graffiti, and unsafe but that is so far from the truth. Lincoln City Park is an open park for all to come and enjoy. They have a play set for the kids to have fun. The older people come to walk around the track and talk to each other. Out in the open fields you can see the little league football team going over their plays. Sometimes they even have food set up for the little league and they share it with whoever is at the park. The cheerleaders are out cheering and having fun practicing their cheers. On the other side the community center is open for the kids to come and use the computers, work out, play on the basketball court, and get help on homework if needed. No one is left out.
I like all the details you used. I also liked how you eplained the different things people can do there. It really gets your point across that it is a diverse place where any member of the family can go to have fun and relax.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of this park and your description of all who goes there and what is active there made want to drive over and view the amazment. You did a good job on describing what the park enduces and the description of each part. Its not just a great place for but for everyone which I think probably made your essay that much better.
ReplyDeleteThe description of the park is put together very well. I like how at the ending you add "No one is left out" because you talk about older people and children. Your thesis is very good and concise which make it straight to the point.
