Thesis: Salento is a calm, memorable place.Intro: If you're looking for a good quality coffee shop in Houston, Salento Coffee is the place to be. Not only does it have amazing coffee, but it also has a relaxing atmosphere, kind employees, and diverse customers. This place can be utilized for a traquil study place, a serene hang out spot, or a comfortable shop to have an enjoyable meal.
Body Paragraph: My brother, Ben, and I came to find Salento out of luck. We were spending a day wandering around in Rice Village and agreed that coffee would be the perfect end to our eventful day. Since we were not entirely familiar with the area, we used my GPS to find coffee shops nearby. Salento seemed like an interesting name, so we decided to give it a chance. After following the directions, we found Salento Coffee shop in a line of shops on Rice Boulevard. There were red-orange umbrellas above their tables outside, and a sun around the "O" in Salento's sign.
I like the introduction a lot, very well written description of the place. I also like how you add how "diverse customers" go there. The name of the place does sound pretty interesting without the coffee following up Salento i wouldn't have guess it would be a coffee shop.
ReplyDeleteI like your introduction it was well put together and made me want to read the rest. I have never heard of Salento Coffee. It sounds like you accidently stumbled up on that coffee shop and that is the best way to find some of the best places.
ReplyDeleteVery good descripite details on the actual place, but maybe a few more would fully bring me there (smells n' stuff like that). The way you described it sounded delightful and would make me want to check it out!
ReplyDeleteThe name Salento is a very unique name and it gives off an essence of elgance in which I have never heard of this coffe shop. All the dominant coffe chains makes me lose interest as I see them everytime I pass by but you finding this shop by accident makes it believeable that there are places that have a relaxing atmosphere in which you describe in your introduction. It makes want to visit it in order to get this experience myself try new and intersting type of meals this establishment has to offer.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used your personal encounter to add to the description of the place. I am new to Houston and I often use my GPS and find myself in great places that I wasn't aware of. I like your thesis because it's short and gets to the point.
